Arm’s Reach Mini 2-in-1 Ezee Co-Sleeper Bassinet Review
I had the opportunity to test out the Arm’s Reach Mini 2-in-1 Ezee Co-Sleeper Bassinet recently with our precious four-month-old boy. The bassinet was tremendously easy to assemble, and it couldn’t have taken more than 10 minutes to assemble (that’s total time, with multiple interruptions from my favorite little “helping” hands).
After getting it set up, I tested it out as I did some work in the kitchen. My four-month-old loved being at a height where he could see my face more easily, and he was content to lay in it while I worked in the kitchen. I, of course, also loved being able to see his face more easily!
It is tremendously easy to fold up (with only minor difficulty getting the mattress wrapped around the frame - much like all packable sleepers), making it a great travel solution. The mattress and sheet were a bit lower quality than I would have expected for a permanent sleeping situation, but would certainly be plenty nice enough for travel purposes. It’s also very easy to convert from next-to-bed to free-standing.
The bassinet also had some great attention to detail -- the wheels allow for easy maneuvering about the house, so I was able to move him while he was sleeping so I could still keep an eye on him while still tending to our two-year-old. It also had nice storage (with a zip pocket) underneath.
When it is placed bedside, it securely attaches to the mattress with straps that anchor to the opposite side of the mattress. I was glad to see that this was how it was secured, as I was initially concerned about it potentially sliding around on our wood floors. The arm on the side closest to the bed was easy to collapse, making it very easy to access your baby while sleeping at night.
In summary, this product felt like a great option for co-sleeping while traveling, and we would certainly recommend it for any families on-the-go who like to keep their little ones close by :)
